We have officially been married for one entire year. What an amazing year it has been. I keep telling people that this has been the best year of my life. It really has. Now that I've had the best year of my life, I keep wondering, well, what's next? Anything will suffice.
Our God is sufficient. His power is made perfect in our weakness, and He is our steadfast Rock. Last night we celebrated our 1 year by getting a couple's massage at a local Spa called Isis. That proved to be an excellent idea. After our massage we got all dressed up and drove to Charlottesville, VA where we ate dinner at a restaurant in Keswick Hall called Fossett's. The whole day was great, but I really enjoyed today even more. Tonight we just relaxed. We cooked steak dinner on the grill, finished decorating our Christmas tree, and watched our wedding video. Seeing us say our vows to each other was a great reminder, and we both are convicted to be more faithful in the little things.
Here are some of the pictures of our tree and our night out!
Out on our date to Charlottesville! |
You can see the before picture in my last post! David did a great job with the lights and trimming! |
You look stunning as always my dear. Sounds like a fun weekend. If your marriage is anything like mine - the years get better -- so you have a lot to look forward to. We have both been blessed with amazing husbands (I like to think I am partly responsible for how great your's turned out - LOL)! Love you!
